Netanyahu: Israel stands with France in war on terror

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said early Saturday that Israel stands “shoulder to shoulder” with France in the “war against terrorism.”

He issued a statement after a deadly string of attacks in Paris left at least 140 dead.

“Israel stands shoulder to shoulder with President Francois Hollande and with the French people in the war against terrorism,” Netanyahu said.

“I send condolences on behalf of the Israeli people to the families of the victims, and wish a speedy recovery to the injured.”

Netanyahu also ordered bolstered security at Israeli embassies and other potential targets, the Israel Hayom daily reported.
