President Reuven Rivlin will lead on Thursday 12 Aril 2018 / 27 Nissan 5778, at 14:30 Israel time (13:30 Poland time), the 30th annual March of the Living from the gates of Auschwitz to Auschwitz-Birkenau, marking Israel’s Holocaust Martyrs’ and Heroes’ Remembrance Day. Israel Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and members of the Security Cabinet, today (Tuesday, 6 February 2018), toured the Golan Heights (Mt. Avital overlook) and were briefed by IDF Chief-of-Staff Lt.-Gen. Gadi Eizenkot, GOC Northern Command Maj.-Gen. Yoel Strick and the commander of the IDF Bashan Division. The tour was to enhance the knowledge of Security Cabinet members.
